Thugs Get Lonely Too was 2Pac's first single from his posthumous album Loyal to the Game. It featured Nate Dogg singing on the chorus. It was produced by Eminem. The single was not much of a success. It only charted at #78 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and at #98 on The Billboard Hot 100. No official music video for the song was ever created. In 1996, Tech N9ne recorded a verse for the song while living with QDIII, who at the time was putting in work on R U Still Down?

The original version of "Thugs Get Lonely Too" samples heavily from "If I Was Your Girlfriend" by Prince.
