Optus receives WorldLingo Multilingual Email Award

Cable and Wireless - Optus Limited (CWO) has been awarded a WorldLingo Multilingual Email Award, after it was the only Australian company to respond to an email written in a foreign language.

WorldLingo conducted a survey of over 200 of the World's largest companies. Each company was sent an email in a foreign language to gauge whether they had the multilingual capabilities to reply to the message.

Only 9% of the world's companies replied, with Optus Limited making it into the world top ten (eighth place) by responding in the time of 25 hours and 6 minutes.
