The Nation's Public-Private Partnership For Suicide Prevention
About us
If you or someone you know is experiencing a suicide or mental health related crisis, please call or text 988 or chat 988Lifeline.org. The Action Alliance is not a crisis line. Launched on World Suicide Prevention Day (September 10) in 2010, the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention (Action Alliance) is the nation’s public-private partnership for suicide prevention. The Action Alliance is charged with championing suicide prevention as a national priority, catalyzing efforts to implement high priority objectives of the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention, and cultivating the resources needed to sustain progress. The Action Alliance and its partners are currently focusing on three priority areas selected from the National Strategy and based on their potential to save lives: transforming health systems, transforming communities, and changing the conversation.
