Now available: Oncology Care Model’s (OCM) final evaluation report: https://lnkd.in/eD5eNTF8 & Patient Perspectives Report: https://lnkd.in/etKN_BBq OCM aimed to improve care coordination, appropriateness of care, and access to care for people undergoing #chemotherapy. Implemented from 2016 to 2022, it also contributed important lessons learned used in the design of the currently recruiting Enhancing Oncology Model: go.cms.gov/eom. The new Oncology Care Model Cancer Care report showcases patient cancer journeys and pinpoints what matters most to people undergoing cancer treatment. It is designed for patients and caregivers to connect and learn about cancer treatment from a patient’s perspective.

We are pleased to announce the opening of a second cohort for the Enhancing Oncology Model (EOM): https://lnkd.in/eSerktdb EOM aims to improve care coordination for cancer patients undergoing active treatment and supports personalized services that help patients navigate and manage their cancer care. Apply now to participate in advancing value-based care! As outlined in the Request for Applications (RFA), CMS is making notable changes to EOM for both the current and new cohort, including: - extending the model by two years - issuing a higher monthly payment for enhanced - services establishing a higher threshold for recoupment (the level of spending at which an EOM participant will owe a performance-based recoupment) For more information, reference the RFA: https://lnkd.in/eqCePJUD
