Kuan-Teh Jeang, the lecture will discuss the roles of multiple innate immune receptors in viral infection in mouse models and patients. The seminar will also describe the unexpected intrinsic roles of these receptors in adaptive T and B lymphocytes. The latter affects both cancer and autoimmunity with implications for immunotherapeutics.
The program is co-sponsored by the NIH Office of Intramural Research and the NIH Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.

SafeZone addresses many of the commonly held misperceptions, myths, and stereotypes related to LGBTIA+ communities. Training is designed to improve understanding and help everyone at the NIH accept fellow employees as they are and as they want to be identified.
