Personal Health Record
What is the Personal Health Record?
The Indian Health Service’s Personal Health Record (PHR) is a convenient, on-line portal used by IHS patients nationwide to access their health records, or one of a loved one. PHR allows patients to track their appointments, their medications, and their medical test results from the privacy of a personal computer or mobile device. It also allows patients to share their health data with designated personal representatives.
Another key feature of PHR is the secure messaging system. This system allows patients to communicate with their health care providers safely and securely.
