May 7, 2024  -  Providers, recipients, and other interested individuals are invited to provide comments on the progress of the Alabama Medicaid Plan First Section 1115 Demonstration Waiver during June public forums in Montgomery, Alabama and in Birmingham, Alabama.

New Medicaid ID Numbers for Elderly and Disabled Population

May 31, 2024  -  The Alabama Medicaid Agency (Medicaid) will begin to migrate the remaining recipients from the AMAES legacy computer system to the newer CARES eligibility system in June 2024. Medicaid anticipates the process will be completed by July 1, 2024.
