We oversee more than $5 trillion in pandemic relief programs and spending.

About us

The Pandemic Response Accountability Committee (PRAC) oversees pandemic relief spending and coordinates oversight among our member Inspectors General. Established by the CARES Act in 2020, the PRAC promotes transparency by reporting accessible and comprehensive spending data; collaborates across the oversight community to identify cross-cutting issues and risks and detects fraud, waste, abuse and mismanagement of relief spending to hold wrongdoers accountable. Through our diverse and innovative staff, the PRAC is building both a model and a legacy for oversight. These supports Inspectors General in the wake of this current crisis and in preparation for future ones.
