This is a reissuance of the cooperative agreement for a Technical Assistance Center for the Statewide Family Networks Program. This announcement changes the submission date to August 10, changes the address to those applications must be submitted, changes eligibility requirements, and adds the requirement for letters of support. The Statewide Networks Technical Assistance Center will serve Networks receiving a grant under SAMHSA GFA No. SM01-004. The purpose of the Technical Assistance Center is to provide training, mentoring by peers in the field, help with problem solving, a communications link for the Center for Mental Health Services to the grantees, and logistical arrangements for a mandatory annual technical assistance meeting. SAMHSA applications consist of three parts: | ||
1. "Part I-Programmatic Guidance" of the
Guidance for Applicants (GFA) provides details about the specific program.
|

2. "GFA Part II" gives standard provisions for SAMHSA applications. However, not all GFAs require Part II. The latest edition of Part II is always available by mail or for electronic downloading from this website. |

3. SAMHSA applications require forms PHS 5161 and
SF-424. These forms are available online from the Program Support
Center of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. |
