Guidance for Applicants (GFA) No. TI 01-008 |
||
The grant announcement for the Addiction Technology Transfer Center
solicits applications to:
1) develop and maintain an interdisciplinary consortium of health care and related professionals, educators, organizations, and State and local governments knowledgeable about research-based, effective, culturally appropriate approaches to substance abuse treatment and recovery; 2) shape systems of care by replicating and testing science and translating substance abuse treatment research into clinical practice 3) develop a workforce of competent health care and related professionals reflective of the treatment population and who are prepared to function in managed care settings, and (4) upgrade standards of professional practice for addictions workers in various settings. 1. "Part I-Programmatic Guidance" of the
Guidance for Applicants (GFA) provides details about the specific program.

2. "GFA Part II" gives standard provisions for SAMHSA applications. However, not all GFAs require Part II. The latest edition of Part II is always available by mail or for electronic downloading from this website. |
||
3. SAMHSA applications require forms PHS 5161 and
SF-424. These forms are available online from the Program Support
Center of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. |
