The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is announcing the availability of funds for grants to develop and implement a National Community Antidrug Coalition Institute. Approximately $2 million in funding will be available to fund one grant
in FY 2002. Estimated subsequent annual awards are anticipated to be
$2 million in FY 2003; $1 million in FY 2004; $1 million in FY 2005;
$750,000 in FY 2006 and $750,000 in FY 2007. Awards may be requested
for up to six years. SAMHSA's Center for Substance Abuse Prevention
(CSAP) will administer the grant. |

SAMHSA applications consist of three parts: | ||
1. "Part I: Programmatic Guidance" of the Guidance for Applicants (GFA) provides details about the specific program. | ||
|
||
2. "GFA Part II" gives standard provisions for SAMHSA applications. However, not all GFAs require Part II. The latest edition of Part II is always available by mail or for electronic downloading from this website. |
||
3. SAMHSA applications require forms PHS 5161 and
SF-424. These forms are available online from the Program Support
Center of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. |
