The purpose of the Recovery Community Support Program (RCSP) grants is to foster the participation of people in recovery, their family members, and other allies (the recovery community) in the public dialogue about addiction, treatment, and recovery, and build their capacity to identify, develop, and support treatment and recovery policies, systems, and services that meet their needs as they define their Applications for two separate tracks will be funded under the RCSP. Track I solicits applications for new recovery community organizing initiatives, and Track II is designed to enable existing organizations that have demonstrated their capacity in recovery community organizing to expand or intensify their current program, or to replicate their promising program model in another setting. | ||

SAMHSA applications consist of three parts: | ||
1. "Part I: Programmatic Guidance" of the
Guidance for Applicants (GFA) provides details about the specific program.
|
||
2. "GFA Part II" gives standard provisions for SAMHSA applications. However, not all GFAs require Part II. The latest edition of Part II is always available by mail or for electronic downloading from this website. |
||
3. SAMHSA applications require forms PHS 5161 and
SF-424. These forms are available online from the Program Support
Center of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. |
