SAMHSA's Center for Substance Abuse Prevention is accepting
applications for Fiscal Year 2003 cooperative agreements to support three-year
State Incentive Enhancement grants to enable States and Territories to
build on the prevention infrastructure established through the State Incentive
Grant (SIG) Program in order to address additional key prevention priorities. They are intended to fulfill SAMHSA’s overall goal of increasing the capacity
and effectiveness of States and communities as they respond to the critical
problems related to substance abuse nationwide. In particular, the SIG Enhancement grants will allow SIG States to focus on three key SAMHSA priorities:
